Seoul Winter Trip, Day 4 (Jan 19, 2014)

Today we wanted to have activities that involved with snow. We searched here and there, and decided to go to Children's Snow Park. Based on the information we got, the place is for family. But when we arrived, we found out it was literally for children. Nothing was made for adults or even teenagers. But I have to admit, if I were still a child, I would be very happy being there. There is snow sledding, children's museum (I really wanted to check it out at that time), and playground. The good thing is we found these amazing ice sculptures.

We were then moving to Tteukseom Resort and it was perfect for us! We were having so much fun sledding. Our excitement were just like kids. Before that, we filled our stomach first with hot odeng (fish cake) and tteokbokki (rice cake) provided at the food corner. So nice!

We had 2-3 rounds of sledding. So fun!

From there, we could also see the beauty of Han River. Chilling by the river felt so good and relaxing that afternoon. We saw some people walked their dogs too.

We had late lunch/early dinner at a restaurant in Itaewon. Itaewon is an area where we could meet a lot of people from different nationalities. There are many shops which sell imported food and medicines and resturants which provide cuisine from all over the world.

At night, we visited N Seoul Tower. We wanted to go there by cable car but having some troubles finding where it was. It was a bit hard to find. We had to walk far and the road is going up. We bought one-way ticket and preferred to go back by bus.
The long journey paid off. Everything looks so pretty from N Seoul Tower. A right decision to go here at night. I wanted to experience it in the afternoon someday, though. This place is perfect for couples but I could find my own happiness. In fact I felt happy because of looking at the couples. It's like I'm watching real-life Korean drama. Everybody was in love :).
Too bad the Teddy Bear Museum was permanently closed and it is replaced by Trick Eye Museum. But thankfully the Teddy Bear shop is still there.
