Clarke Quay, Singapore

Clarke Quay is my ideal place for afternoon-night getaway. You get the food, the crowd, and the ambience. You can have a relaxing walk while it's still bright since there aren't many people yet, sitting on the riverside, or even choose the restaurant if you want to eat later. The restaurants provide around the world cuisine, but the price are mostly expensive.

You can even take the Singapore River Cruise ride that passes Boat Quay, Clarke Quay, and Marina Bay. The ticket price is SGD22 for adults and 12 for children. The journey takes 40 minutes. But don't worry if you feel it's a bit expensive or the journey is too long. They provide partial journey where you can stop at particular point and you can even pay with your EZ-Link card.

And here comes the night. Bright lights? Crowd? Check. I came twice and I didn't explore up until to this point at first because it was raining and I was already tired. Thank God it was a such a nice weather on the next day and even the best weather so far while I was here. I didn't expect that people can actually sit along the bridge. So bring along your friends and have a great night here!
