WORLD OF NADA

It's our last day and we ended our trip with K-Pop agency tour. Yeay! This is what I've been waiting for. For those of you who are not K-popers might not understand what I'm talking about in this post, hehe. South Korea becomes more popular because of K-Pop which is going global. There are many agencies which produce the artists. But today, I just visited the most popular agencies which also have my favorites artists.

First, we visited YG Entertainment since it's only one station away from our house. YG is my most favorite agency. As I remember, Big Bang wasn't in Korea at that time so I anticipated for Winner. There were two other girls waiting. After being there for around half an hour and spotted nobody, we left.

We went to Insadong again to buy souvenirs for our relatives and had lunch at a restaurant there.
Had this nice tofu soup, forgot what it's called in Korean

We visited Boy Who Cried Wolf (BWCW). It's EXO Pop Up Store. I was lucky I came here at the right time. This place is heaven for the fans. The store is a college-themed which is very interesting. Besides official goods, they also sell food and drinks which were called with EXO-related names. I really enjoyed being there.

Too pretty!

Last stop is Cheongdamdong where there is SM, JYP, and Cube Entertainment. While we passed the street, we saw branded fashion stores. The area itself really is upper-class. Even the station is different with other stations I had visited before. This one has more glamorous and luxurious touch.

The actual SM building but it's being renovated

Since we're struggling to find the agency, we took a taxi and we didn't regret it at all because it was too far if we went there by walking.

Dunkin Donuts is just opposite JYP. So you can
sit comfortably if you want to wait a whole day.

Close with JYP, there is Cube Entertainment. And they have their own cafe too. Besides light food, they also sell Cube artists official goods.

And the last one is SM Entertainment. It's the most crowded agency we had visited today. Many girls are waiting. We were standing there for so long and feeling cold. There's a playground across the building.

And that's the end of my very first winter trip in Seoul. Even though I didn't meet any artists, I was still happy visiting the agency and since I was having my birthday at that time, the day just felt so good! At night, the girls surprised me by giving cake. They were very nice knowing the fact they just knew my birthday in the morning :).

I definitely want to visit Seoul again someday. There's still so much things and places I haven't explored. See you again in another season, Seoul!

Had to wake up early today because we were having De-Militarized Zone (DMZ) Tour. I'm not good at describing history so basically DMZ is the border between North and South Korea. We were supposed to have this tour privately with Robert but his wife was sick so he had to take care of her and he assigned us to have the tour with his friend as the tour guide and some other people. I was very sleepy at the car but couldn't sleep.

I was actually scared at first but when I arrived, I didn't expect there were lots of tourists! We watched a movie about how the conflict between North and South Korea began. Then we were taken to museum and were told more stories were told. The most exciting part is when we went inside the tunnel. It's the third tunnel found which suspected to be a surprise attack from North Korea. The guests are not allowed to take any photos inside. It is such a long tunnel which made us very tired. Going inside was a lot easier than going back because the path is going up so we were struggling.

Then we were taken to Dora Observatory. Again, we watched a movie. Here, we could look a glimpse of North Korea.

With one of the soldiers. Yes, you can actually
take pictures with them and they were friendly.

See the yellow line? It's the limit line where you can use your camera. After passing that line, better put your camera inside your bag and if you're still trying to take any picture, all photos in your camera will have a chance to be deleted.

At Dorasan station, you can have stamp, but it must not be stamped on real passport and money. So I got one on my passport copy.

'Not the last station from the South, but the first station toward the North.'

IMPORTANT: Don't forget to bring your passport when you have DMZ Tour.
After that, we went to Dongdaemun. We were looking around at doota fashion mall. Most of the clothes are expensive, but there is this nice stationery store that sells some interesting stuff with affordable price. We moved to Dongdaemun fashion market but it was a bit disappointing. We only found tailors everywhere who make custom-made Hanbok. The designs are so pretty, though. I love the ones with pastel colors. I just can't afford it. I still wanted to explore Dongdaemun more but it was late already. The Dongdaemun Design Plaza also had not opened yet at that time :(.

Lunch at dote food court. This pork bibimbap taste so good but too spicy for me.

Spent the whole day at Nami Island (Namiseom). This place is popular because it is where Korean drama Winter Sonata took place. We went there by train and arrived at Gapyeong station. There are lots of taxis that gonna take you to Namiseom dock. You buy the tickets here and also to take the ferry.

Another satisfaction after long journey. The place is magical and romantic. I got a chance to experience the snowiest winter ever while in Seoul! There was so much to see and they have amazing views and surroundings. Again, I think this place is perfect for couples, especially newlyweds and I could really feel the romance. I just love being here! Let the pictures do the story.

Eating here is a bit expensive but no other choice unless we wanted to be freezing the whole day.
First time trying Naengmyeon (cold noodle). I didn't expect it is that good!

A nice hot seafood soup

Reality show shooting

It's getting more beautiful at night

Beautiful yet creepy.
I wonder what I would find if I walked further.

I just destroy the beauty of the statue
Two wishes: 1. Go back here during fall. 2. Go here during winter again with future husband.

Me, Jennifer, and Tata wanted to try this crowded restaurant near our house. We were very amateur
grilling those
pork. We preferred the staff keep helping us with that.

Last stop before going home, we visited Style Nanda. We just knew it is actually really close with our house! Style Nanda is a leading women's fashion store. Most of the clothes are worn by K-Pop artists. What I was most excited about is the makeup sold there which is 3EyesConcept. They have amazing colors that another Korean beauty brands rarely have. We were too happy trying the products.
