Amertha Bhavani Goes to Czech Republic, Day 23 (Sep 5, 2013) - Karlovy Vary

We had two performances today. First was in the late morning in front of a big building. The audience was very amused with our performance. I don't know how these people got informed about our show since the venue is like this and it was only us who performed. The people seemed to come here to watch us, because they had been waiting there before we were ready. After we finished, the overall place was not crowded.

There's something different today. Usually we just only performed but now we also gave workshop for the audience. We taught them some hand tricks from our Saman dance. They were very enthusiatic to learn. Language difference didn't seem to be a matter. We were having fun together teaching and learning.

I didn't know what place this is but it is quite big. It has beautiful garden and fountain. Although it was very hot, the weather was perfect at that time in this kind of place.

Drinking Burcak, a fermented grape. Sweet and very refreshing.

There is a tap where we can take water that contains some mineral elements.

The heat made me crave for ice cream. It looks like
chocolate sauce, but it's actually caramel, yumm!

We had lunch at Charles University Faculty of Medicine's canteen. Some of the students were there. Then we had free time for about 2,5 hours so we walked around an area where there were some clothing stores, new and second, owned mostly by Asians. Me and some others had planned to have winter trip in Seoul and there were winter boots sold. We each got a pair with affordable price!

We found a dessert café nearby. We were not too hungry actually but we needed a place to sit. The menu made us drooling. We just ordered something light so we ordered Hot Dark and White Chocolate. Oh my.. they taste amazing! Actually I had tried one before at a restaurant in Frenstat which was my friend's order. But this one taste better. I found that the hot chocolates sold in Czech are more condensed. They are more of like a dessert than a drink.
