WORLD OF NADA

We walked a little from Miss Bee Providore to Maxi's Resto. It's as crowded but thank God we got a table upstairs. The breezy wind and a view of green grass was perfect that afternoon. I spotted many families and group of friends eating. Having a party here would be a good idea. Since we were looking for ambiance instead of eating, we just ordered drinks and appetizers. Looking at the menu, it is mostly Western. I was amazed because it wasn't pricey at all. It is relatively cheap for a place like this. The taste, based on what I ordered, wasn't disappointing. We even got free-flow of water!

We wanted to have 'real' lunch and were heading to Miss Bee Providore. As we arrived, we were told we got number 10 on waiting list. We didn't mind because we really enjoyed with the place and we could take pictures as we waited. This is time for me to explore the whole restaurant. It consists of two buildings. I fell in love with it within a second! Everything about it seems to be so nice. Most of the guests are families. There are lots of spots for children. After getting enough pictures, we decided to move somewhere else because we waited for long enough. I was actually very curious with the food because they look nice too. The cakes are very mouth-watering. They provide Asian and Western food. I am looking forward to come here again and eat.

Enjoy the pictures!

Before going home, we had brunch at Toko You. The restaurant/shop has an old style because it really is an old place. The place is quite popular and we decided to go here. I didn't know we arrived already since there is no sign of the restaurant.

They provide many varieties of food, from rawon (Indonesian food-sliced beef with black soup), noodle, dim sum, even fish and chips! I can say everybody had a pleasant lunch here. The food taste good and they provide free refillable hot tea.

From Tahura, we decided to check in at our accommodation. We stayed at Grand Setiabudi Hotel & Apartment. When I came in to the room, I was so amazed. It is much better than I expected knowing the price. It is super affordable with facilities like this. The room only costs Rp550.000,- (around US$50) per night. There are 2 rooms, living room, a bathroom, and a kitchen. How cool is that? I am very satisfied and highly recommend this apartment as choice of accommodation. The location is great too. There are some eating places around.

It was raining all afternoon so we rest for a while. We wanted to catch sunset at Burgundy at first but we changed the route since it was quite far and there was traffic. We then had dinner at Cocorico and I love the place. We decided to sit upstairs, it is semi-outdoor. The view was beautiful that night even though I felt very cold. The food we had are nice. The menu are European and Asian.

Some of us (well, me in particular) wanted to have dessert. We moved to other place and ended up at Brieven. It's not actually a dessert place, I don't know why we ended up going there. I was curious because a friend posted about the place and it looks  very interesting. When we asked someone about the place, he said Brieven is already closed and replaced by Oliver's. We still kept heading to the place though because it wasn't that far from where we were. When we arrived, it didn't seem Brieven was closed. Turns out when we went inside, the waiter said they use Oliver's menu.
There weren't many people inside, but there was live music. The band invited the guests to sing at the front. My cousin then sang two songs. Me and the others were having fun at our table.
